Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed on Monday 22/4/2019 means of boosting bilateral cooperation with Speaker of the Cypriot parliament Demetris Syllouris.
They reviewed aspects of cooperation, emphasizing their mutual willingness to foster it in all fields, especially on the parliamentarian level, the Foreign Ministry's Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
They also stressed the robust ties between both countries.
Shoukry commended constant parliamentarian coordination between the two Mediterranean states as demonstrated by the visit paid by House Speaker Ali Abdel Aal to Cyprus in September.
Syllouris asserted that his country is looking forward to continuing cooperation with Egypt, the spokesman added, noting that both the Cypriot speaker and his accompanying delegation were keen on listening to the minister's brief on the latest regional developments.
