Egypt grabs 4 prizes at Intel ISEF contest in Arizona, USA

Egypt has won four prizes at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) competition, which was held in the US State of Arizona on May 12-17.
Two Egyptian students came in the second place for their project in the field of environmental engineering.
In addition, an Egyptian student from Port Said came fourth in the category of biochemistry.
Two other students won a special prize from the United Technologies Corp. for their project: “Novel membrane for wound applications”.
Moreover, another student from Upper Egypt was awarded a special prize from global computer tech giant “Oracle” for a project entitled “Education go”.
The global contest witnessed the participation of students from 80 countries.
The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), a program of Society for Science & the Public (the Society), is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.
