Abdel Aaal says Egypt keen on building Tanzanian cadres

House Speaker Ali Abdel Aal said on Saturday June 22, 2019 that the relations between Egypt and Tanzania have recently witnessed a great momentum, citing the exchange of visits between the two countries' senior officials in the past period.

Abdel Aal made the remarks during a meeting with Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania Job Ndugai and his accompanying delegation.

An Egyptian consortium of the Arab Contractors and El Sewedy Electric companies have won a contract to establish a hydroelectric dam in Tanzania, Abdel Aal pointed out.

He further asserted the state's keenness on building Tanzanian cadres in different fields.

He added that a parliamentary friendship association has been formed with Tanzania to boost parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

Ndugai, for his part, praised the deeply-rooted relations between the two countries, noting that he will deliver a message to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi from his Tanzanian counterpart on means of promoting bilateral relations in different fields.
