Sisi: Social protection programs should help needy people to be employed

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed to enhance the social protection programs to serve the targeted needy people, and to help them to be employed and become productive members of the community.
Work could pull out the underprivileged people from poverty, Sisi stressed during a meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli, and Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali, Presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The meeting tackled the activities of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and its various social protection programs and initiatives, such as “Mastora”, “Two children are enough”, “Mawada” and “Haya Karima” (Decent Life).
During the meeting, Wali briefed the president on progress achieved so far in implementing these different programs and initiatives, in light of the country’s keenness on investing in the people to make Egypt’s Vision 2030 feasible.
