Sunday، 04 August 2019 - 11:16 AM

Three golden caskets of Tutankhamun will be displayed at the Grand Egyptian Museum which is due to open soon.

The caskets are made of pure gold, Nour Mohamed Badr, a specialist in restoring monuments, said in statements to MENA.

This will be the first time for Tutankhamun treasures to be displayed collectively, he said.

Breaking new ground in its exhibited artifacts, the museum aims to impress with King Tutankhamun displays that have never been shown before since its unearthing in 1922.

The GEM accommodates two 7,000 sqm galleries revealing the king’s lifestyle; how he lived, dressed and ate in addition to the complete collection of his precious belongings.
