Cairo to host first Arab conference on women's health in September

The first Arab conference on women's health will be held in Cairo on September 11-12 under the theme of 'Improving women's health to achieve 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.'
To be hosted by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), the conference will be held under the auspice of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.
The event will be co-organized by the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean and the National Council for Women, the ARADO said in a statement Tuesday.
The conference is set to witness broad Arab participation from Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Algeria.
The agenda of the event will include the current status of the women's health system in Arab states and its impact on attaining the sustainable development goals.
