President Sisi’s visit to France

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to France during the period 24-26 August ,2019 to participate in the G7 Summit attended by presidents and heads of governments of the seven states has an exceptional importance.
The visit, which came upon invitation by the French President Emmanuel Macron, materializes deep relations between Egypt and France, the importance of this World Summit and its agenda as well as the importance of Egyptian participation.
Moreover, this visit has a positive effect on the foreign policy of Egypt as strengthens Egypt's position on both regional and global levels in an unprecedented way.
According to a report developed by the State Information Service (SIS), this is the fourth visit by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to France since he has come to power in 2014, where the first visit was in November 2014 and the second was in November 2015. In both visits, the President held important talks with the French President Francois Hollande at that time. The third visit to Paris was in October 2017, where he was received by the French President Emmanuel Macron.
On the other hand, President Hollande attended the opening ceremony of the new Suez Canal project in August 2016, and President Macron visited Cairo in January 2019.
This new visit of President Sisi to France is an addition to the extended historical bilateral relation in various domains. Furthermore, There are several issues ,to be tackled, that concern both Egypt and France at the levels of Africa, the Middle East, the Mediterranean region and international issues.
