Sisi: Egypt keen on developing joint cooperation with Zambia

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Friday lauded solid relations between Egypt and Zambia given the important role of Lusaka in the southern Africa region.
During his meeting with his Zambian counterpart Edgar Lungu on the fringe of the 7th Tokyo International Conference on Africa's Development (TICAD) here, President Sisi asserted that Egypt attaches great importance to consolidating joint cooperation with Zambia at various levels.
Sisi affirmed that Egypt is keen to receive more Zambian cadres participating in the capacity building programs implemented under the supervision of the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development in various fields.
The Zambian president praised growing relations between both countries, saying that there are broad prospects for developing ties and pushing forward joint cooperation in various fields, mainly in the domains of the joint farms projects, trade exchange and luring Egyptian foreign direct investments to his country, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
Lungu hailed Egypt's contribution to achieving social development and economic growth in the African countries, voicing keenness on transferring Egypt's experiment in implementing the comprehensive economic reform program to his country.
