Sisi affirms Egypt's support to Sudan's security

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's confirmation of Egypt's support to Sudan's security and stability made headlines in Sudanese newspapers out Thursday 19/9/2019.
The newspapers also highlighted Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok's visit to Egypt on Wednesday 18/9/2019.
President Sisi received Hamadok when he asserted Egypt's support to the security and stability of Sudan and respect of its people's choices, adding that Egypt will offer all forms of support for Sudanese people in this regard.
A plenary session was held in Cairo between the Sudanese and Egyptian sides, co-headed by Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli and his Sudanese counterpart Hamdok.
Sudanese newspaper Akhbar El Youm cited Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady who quoted President Sisi as hailing Sudan's achievements realized throughout the current crucial phase in its history and taking the path towards meeting the aspirations of the Sudanese people in achieving development.
Meanwhile, Alyoum Altali newspaper shed light on Sisi's affirmation of the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation with Sudan in all files of mutual interest as well as accelerating joint development projects such as the electricity grid and railways connection.
Sisi's assertion of Egypt's keenness on the restoration of Sudan's genuine role in the Arab and African regions was highlighted by Al Sudani newspaper.
The Khartoum-based daily Al Mejhar said that Hamadok briefed president Sisi on the latest political developments in his country, and discussed with him challenges facing the African country during the current stage.
