Damietta Governor discusses cooperation with Japan

Damietta Governor Manal Awad met on Tuesday 8/10/2019 with delegations of the Cultural Center of the Japanese Embassy in Cairo, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) to discuss means of building cooperation bridges.
The governor praised all projects carried out by the JICA in Egypt.
This came during the governor's visit to the Horus University In Egypt (HUE) to attend the activities of the "Japan Day".
She was received by University President Akram El Awady and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Hassan el Shennawy, along with a raft of the university professors and members of the board of trustees.
She welcomed the Japanese delegations and expressed her pleasure to hold such events, which she said aim to achieve
cooperation and facilitate communication between both sides in various fields.
She underlined that Damietta General Hospital will be renovated and turned into an educational hospital, a step that will help achieve a great leap in health sector in the governorate.
