Chairman of Egypt's State Information Service (SIS) and the Syndicate of Journalists Diaa Rashwan said that confronting challenges facing the countries during the recent years, which threaten of tearing and destroying them, is a common duty between the State and citizens.
In the editorial article of the fifth issue of "Studies in Human Rights" Journal published by SIS, Rashwan said that the plots of State destruction starts by spreading rumors, weaken confidence in the national institutions, falsifying awareness of citizens and spreading doubts in the society in parallel with attempts of weakening security, spreading panic and fear of the future.
Rashwan added that confronting such plots comes through combination of the efforts of citizens and the State together, in order to nip these attempts in the bud, refute their pretexts and spread the sound awareness of all national issues. The safeguarding of the State is the duty of all citizens and their right on the State including fighting terrorism in all intellectual, material and moral forms. The main source of the strength and solidness of societies is the firmness of their citizens in standing in face of the campaigns that aim at weakening confidence in their countries and institutions.SIS publishes the "Studies in Human Rights" Journal in Arabic, English and French as a quarterly scientific publication to spread the right concepts about human rights and highlight Egypt's efforts in this field. The publication is distributed to those interested in this issue inside and outside Egypt.
