Assar confers with Belarusian envoy on enhancing cooperation in manufacturing fields


Minister of State for Military Production Mohammed Said el Assar conferred on Monday 2/12/2019 with Belarusian Ambassador in Cairo Sergei Terentiev on means of boosting cooperation in the fields of manufacturing various products.

 

During the meeting, Assar welcomed the ambassador and greeted him on assuming his new diplomatic post in Cairo, asserting that the ministry is keen on developing cooperation with the Belarusian companies in various fields especially the development of military industries.

 

The two sides also discussed current cooperation between the companies affiliated to the Military Production Ministry and the Belarusian companies including Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), Amkodor and Agromash.

 

The Belarusian ambassador, for his part, voiced confidence over the great potentials possessed by the Military Production Ministry and its affiliate companies, terming as "successful" the existing cooperation with the Egyptian side in a way that could encourage other companies to clinch more deals with the aim of upgrading manufacturing in all fields of common interest.

 

He also praised the role played by the Ministry of Military Production in supporting and propelling investment in Egypt in view of the distinguished relations binding the two countries.

 

At the end of the meeting, Assar invited the Belarusian envoy to visit Helwan Machinery and Equipment Company (999 Military Factory) to get briefed on scopes of cooperation with the Belarusian MAZ company. Assar also suggested that the Belarusian side mull cooperation with Banha Company for Electronics in the field of electronics and optical.

 

Terentiev also said he would pay a visit to the pavilion of the Military Production Ministry at ICT 2019 Exhibition  which runs till December 4.
