Egypt and Brazil

Egypt and Brazil are linked with long-standing ties extend to the nineteenth century, where Egypt welcomed the visiting Brazilian Emperor Tom Bodo VIII in 1876.

In the 50's and 60's of the 19th century, there has been a rapprochement between the two countries in the context of political movements such as the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and economic movements such as the Group of 77 (G-77).
