Minya security forces launched a wide-scale crackdown and managed to arrest nine elements of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group over attacking police stations and public facilities, rioting and protesting. The crackdown also seized 14 unlicensed firearms, 206 bullets and two light weapons. During the crackdown, 687 traffic violations were recorded and 47 unregistered motorbikes were seized.

Minya security Directorate continued its crackdowns to hunt down the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group's elements who are accused of attacking police and public facilities and inciting violence. The campaign resulted in arresting three defendants who are charged with storming Delga police station during the events of October 10 last year. The campaign also resulted in seizing 16 unlicensed firearms, arresting a jobless man with 13 pieces of cannabis in his possession and another who had 250 drug tablets.
