Aswan police have arrested a Muslim Brotherhood member who had explosive charges on him. Abdullah Yassin Mohamed, 21, intended to use the bombs in sabotage acts. He admitted to joining the terrorist group and to manufacturing bombs in cooperation with his 44-year-old brother, an MB member himself. All legal measures have been taken against the detainee. An investigation has been launched.

He confessed to jointly making the charges with his runaway brother, 44, to attack vital state institutions. Acting on a tip-off, security forces raided an apartment in Al Maraghi district and arrested Mahmoud Abdel Sallam. Abdel Sallam is a leading figure of the banned group and is believed to be an important element in the connections between the organization members outside Egypt and its premises inside, the source said. He is also believed to be tasked with missions to incite rioters to carry out sabotage and protests acts across the country, added the source.

A 100-member march was organized in Tahrir Heroes Street and then moved towards the tourism police premises as protesters started hurling fireworks and Molotov cocktails at the building and a parked police vehicle. Security forces dispersed the protesters, chased them in nearby streets, using tear gas bombs and arrested four of them.

Two of the suspects are in detention while three others are still on the run.  Investigations showed that they stormed the court building in March and burnt parts of it using petrol bombs.
