Launching Suez Canal development project
Objectives of the Project

East Port Said development project is the real springboard for the development of the Suez Canal axis area projects after the opening of the "new Suez Canal".
This project was issued by a Presidential decree determining the geographical scope from Port Said Port and West Port Said in the north to the Adabeya port and Al Ain Sokhna in the south, passing through industrial areas: West Qantara area and a logistic industrial and technological area east of Ismailia known as the Technology Valley, industrial zones and plants for the production of electricity in the south, north-west of the Suez Gulf and in the Ain Sokhna area.
Achieving the maximum economic benefit from the exploitation of available lands east of the canal, and the establishment of a developmental extension «economic, geographic, and urban» to the three Canal cities.
Operation of national Egyptian companies and personnel: 10 major national companies involved in the field of drilling and civil construction, utilities take part in the projects launched by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, in addition to more than 21 specialized consultant engineering offices.
