Celebrating the centennial of the Egyptian Rowing Federation in 2007 is a very special event, with a historical and cultural significance that instills pride in all of us Egyptians, as well as our Arab and African brothers and sisters.

The Egyptian Rowing Federation is one of the earliest sports federations to be established anywhere in the world. It is also a founding member of the Egyptian Olympic Committee at its establishment time in 1910.

Since 1907 and throughout 100 years history, Egypt participates in competitions at all levels: world, Olympics, African and Arab., as a result of the contribution, effort and passion from Egypt Rowing family members. During these competitions, champions do their best to raise the Egyptian Flag and be on the awarding podium.
