• M. Abu treka, Ahly and Egypt's football star was born and raised in a humble family in the village of Nahia, Giza governorate in 1978 having 3 brothers and one sister. He is married. He got two twins: (Seif & Ahmed).

• His childhood affected so much his fondness of football playing with his friends and neighbors.

• He set off his football journey since he was 7 as he played in his village roads.

• When he was 12, his friend Magdy Abed (now football keeper in Semoha Club, Alexandria) got him to attend football tests that were held then in Egyptian Arsenal Club where he proved successful. He soon joined Egyptian Arsenal.

• Abu Treka spent 3 years there in the 2nd level team away from public media. Then he was shifted to the 1st level team where he spent two more years. At last he joined Al-Ahly Club in 2003.
