CIBF Pavilions

Pavilion of Egypt's Cultural Development Fund:

The Pavilion of Egypt's Cultural Development Fund is displaying thousands of books and periodicals issued by sectors and authorities of the Ministry of Culture. The Pavilion, in addition, is displaying some 157 new titles issues by the National Council for Culture, National Council for Translation, along with sectors of plastic arts.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina Pavilion:

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is taking part in the fair through displaying an array of outstanding books most important among which the book entitled "Ibn Khaldoun.. the Mediterranean in the 14th century" that has been translated from Spanish into Arabic by 12 men of letter. In addition the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is also displaying a number of valuable books that include scripts of the Islamic Art Museum in Malaysia, as all are available at reasonable prices.

German Pavilion:

The German Pavilion is organizing several cultural activities in cooperation with the International Frankfurt Book Fair. The German Pavilion as well will be witnessing a number of discussions along with several competitions with Egyptian writers.

"Al-Ahram" Pavilion:

The institution of "Al-Ahram" is participating in the fair with three pavilions, as the great press institution is displaying the most updated publications of both local and international publishing houses. The Books on display in such pavilions cover all fields of knowledge. The pavilion of "Al-Ahram" this year is displaying some 35.000 foreign books issued in 2007. In addition, some illustrated publications that include E-editions are available.
