Spain lauds Egyptian participation in Expo2008

Mello Kastino, Communissioner General of Expo exhibition2008 lauded the Egyptian participation in the fair at a reception held on the occasion marking the Egyptian national day at the Spanish city Zara goza under the slogan of Water and Sustainable development .

He stressed that the Egyptian participation has a great effect on the successof this exhibition especially after the Egyptian government approved displaying real monumental pieces that shed light on how the ancient Egyptian man was keen on preserving the Nile water is the only real source of life in Egypt . It is also considered the greatest river in the world.

The Commissioner said that the Egyptian participation at this level would increase the value of the exhibition, which seeks to raise environmental awareness to preserve water in the world as a major source of life and for the establishement of peace and achieving sustainable development for all peoples.

Sharif Salim also pointed out that the Egyptian pavilion has been designed in a way which reflects the important role of the River Nile in the Egyptian life.
