The Egyptian military

It is our right to be proud of the Egyptian military which restored the honor of the nation and wiped out the impacts of 1967 defeat. The blood of Egypt's soldiers and leaders paved the road before restoring our lands in Sinai through hard negotiations in which Egypt did not give in an inch of its territories. The blood of the Egyptian martyrs helped start a new era of stability since 1973 given that Egypt did not engage in any wars and headed to development.

The achievement of the Egyptian military made late President Sadat think of establishing parties. It also made the Egyptians aspire for more democracy and freedom of expression.

The achievement of the Armed Forces led to admitting human rights institutions, non-governmental organizations and allowed the parties to criticize the government and the ruling party in order to correct the track. This immense military achievement entitles Egypt to lead the region in the field of democracy and to present the model to our neighbors.
