October Victory and Arab Reality Today, we are in need to be inspired by the spirit of October War which led the Egyptians to cross from failure to victory and remove the consequences of the 1967 defeat and achieve victory and start the march of development and construction. It is painful to see the current deteriorating state of affairs in the Arab world which suffer from divisions and absence of joint action in the march of modernization and development. The Arab nation needs a comprehensive renaissance thus leading it to unite efforts and work for the purpose of attaining one goal, such as what happened in the great War of October 1973 which changed the reality and outline a new map for the region. The "holy" War of October will remain in the minds and hearts of all Egyptians over the years, where it demonstrated the ability of the Egyptians to defend their home and dignity.
