The Cairo International Conference Centre (CICC) is the result of many years of tireless planning and careful execution. It is the only comprehensive conference center in the country, over 30 hectares of it. The Center is the very latest in conference facilities to ensure that while everything is carried with the greatest possible efficiency, your comfort and convenience have been seen to. To start with, the Centre is a mere ten minute drive from Cairo International Airport, a short drive from any one of several five star hotels and a five minute walk from the Cairo International Exhibition Grounds. There is parking space available for 1,200 cars. The exquisite Chinese Garden must be one of our most cherished facilities. An Oasis of peace and harmony, this beautiful garden is set in the midst of 28 lush acres of land. It is a peaceful haven, a place to slip away to from the stress of business. The winding paths will take you to a beautiful Chinese Pagoda, and if you decide to stroll down the hill, you will come upon the lovely man made lake, home of the two Chinese pavilions, the winter one walled in and the summer one a lovely courtyard . It is a beautiful spot to simply relax, enjoy some light refreshment while watching the colorful woodpeckers and simply relax. The CICC has a total of 15,000 sq.m. for exhibition space with a load floor which varies from 500 kg/sq.m. to 1,000 kg/sq.m.
Banquet hall The hall occupies an area of 1,600 sq.m. and seats 1,000 people in graceful comfort, or, it may hold receptions for 2,500 with ease. The hall has its own orchestra balcony for live music, and its glass windows overlook the garden into the twinkling night. Underneath, there is a large kitchen, which has all the necessary equipment such as fridges, ovens and storeroom. The Coffee Shop – Amoun Covering an area of 400 sq.m. and accommodating up to 200 persons, Amoun is located just below the Nefertiti Banquet Hall and overlooks the sumptuous gardens of the CICC. An added area infront of the Coffee Shop can be incorporated in fine weather. Exhibition Complex The Exhibition Complex is connected to the main building by the bridge and also boasts a separate entrance perfectly designed to meet all organizers' and exhibitors' requirements with a large space at the entrance for registration. Each of the three halls has a separate entrance for visitors with back loading doors. Its floor area is 8000 sq.m. and its loading floor is 1,000 kg/sq.m., with all exhibition infrastructure including electricity, water and drainage. On the Mezzanine level, the Exhibition Complex has 5 offices that can be used by organizers, a large meeting room which can accommodate up to 120 people in classroom style, equipped with simultaneous translation, discussion and sound systems. The Exhibition Complex is served by a cafeteria, located on the Mezzanine Level, which is equipped to serve hot meals and snacks with seating capacity of 150 persons. The two levels are connected with escalators and elevators. Convention Auditoriums Cheops Auditorium The largest auditorium hall with a total area of 2700 sq.m., it features the latest functional congress technology, and holds 2,500 people in 2 levels, level 1 accommodates 1450 seats and level 2 is for 1050 seats in plush comfort. The stage has the added attraction of the two circular daises, which rotate slowly in the opposite directions. The center dais can be raised 1.8m and lowered 3.3m. With a stage height of 10m, the stage also has an orchestra system area that can be lowered for 1.9m. There are 30 backstage rooms and fully operational and equipped backstage, complete with sets, fire curtain, fire detection and sprinkler systems. The lighting system in three ways operational – computer programmed, manually or line operated. Cheops Auditorium has the Privilege of being multi-usage-it has the modern techniques as an auditorium with a United Nation standard voting board, enabling delegates to vote by Nation, the facilities of 8 languages of simultaneous translation, public address system, closed T.V circuit, cinematic projecting system and 2 full video walls (25TV units). Skilled professional stage technicians ensure that each piece of equipment is used to its full potential for any type of event: Audiovisual presentations, large inaugural events, concerts, stage show, operas and ballets. In fact Cheops Auditorium is Egypt's largest stage which fulfills the most up-to-date stage requirements. Chefren Auditorium Chefren auditorium is a replica of Cheops Auditorium containing all its amenities. Its total area is of 940 sq.m. with a seating capacity of 800 on 2 levels, level 1 with 560 seats and level 2 has 240 seats, the auditorium has the versatility to be divided into two identical halls each one with its own meeting facilities and its own stage. Mycerinos Auditorium The most flexible of the three main auditoriums as it can be used as a meeting and exhibition hall, It has an area of 960 sq.m. and a capacity of 600 seats. This hall provides a functional combination that can systematically reduce it in size to units of multiples of 100 seats with moveable partitions. This division in varied seating configuration makes them well suited for a variety of events. Each of the divided halls continues to be equipped with the same meeting facilities as the two larger ones. Flexibility and convenience have been designed into this hall making it ideal for small size seminars, exhibitions, and workshops. Press Centre Egypt being centrally located has always been a focal point of world wide media attention. To meet the expectations of the press and media people, the CICC press centre has separate entrance and is designed to offer exemplary working conditions for press, radio and TV coverage. Its main press hall has the capacity for 150 seats in theater/classroom style and has the facilities for simultaneous translation in four languages in addition to Closed Circuit Television linked to every auditorium in the centre. Furthermore, there is a Cafeteria on the same level where journalists can relax, sit to exchange news and views. There are three multipurpose rooms each of 177 sq.m. adjacent to the Press Centre flexible in their design to meet the demands of each individual organizer either to be used as meeting hall, editors' room or exhibition. Any number of telephone and fax lines - local and international as well as ISDN - or computers can be installed within the Press Centre with UPS systems in operation. Dark rooms are available for the avid photographers. Also in front of the Centre there is a fully equipped Business Centre providing all secretarial works in addition to a post office .
