There are also two open show-platforms right and left to the building's main entrance. Each is 1000 square meters. The right-hand platform displays samples of Egyptian aircrafts that carried out the first sortie that successfully paved the way for the glorious October Victory.
The left-hand platform displays samples of Israeli armaments including tanks seized by Egypt in the October War.
In the main hall, there is a giant mosaic plate replicating a photograph that was taken inside the Armed Forces Operations Room during the charting out of the war plan.
There are also six relief plates recounting the triumphs of the Egyptian people during their struggle against colonialists from Pharaonic times till the hoisting of the Egyptian flag over Taba. Beneath these plates, the names of Egyptian October martyrs are inscribed.
