Cooperation between Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Austrian National Library

A Memorandum of Understanding between Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Austrian National Library was signed in December 2007 aiming at exchanging periodicals, expertise in the field of libraries' archives, giving lectures, holding training courses, conferences, exhibitions and cooperating in the field of preserving papyrus and cooperating in its restoration as well. According to the Memorandum of Understanding both sides would set a 3 year detailed program on cooperation.

Cooperation between the Egyptian and Austrian National Libraries

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Egyptian National Library and the National Austrian Library was signed in November 2007 aiming at exchanging expertise in the field of preserving papyrus and historical documents and exchanging transcripts and publications on Greek, Coptic and Arabic patrimony and saving them on CDs as well. The two sides cooperate as well on exchanging experts, training courses, workshops, scientific conferences, symposia, Rare Books Fairs, historical documents. Such cooperation would last for three years.
