Finland has changed its strategy towards its Financial and developmental aid to Egypt. It stopped its aid for developmental projects in 2007 and established several MOUs to facilitate loan granting.
The Finnish Minister of Development and Foreign Trade met The Minister of International Cooperation in February 2008 to increase business and flourish international cooperation.
There are hardly any Egyptian labors, as most of Egyptians in Finland are Finnish nationals and benefit from the Finnish Social Services.
