From 27 and 28 May 2010, a delegation of senior officials of the Ministry of Health visited Slovenia, headed by Assistant Minister of Health for medical treatment Nasser Rassmy to discuss aspects of joint cooperation and the first meeting of the Steering Committee, the joint activation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed during the visit of the Prime Minister of Slovenia to Egypt in the last 15/12/2009.
From 7 to 8 May 2010, Head of the Foreign Cultural Relations sector in the ministry of Culture Hossam Nassar visited Slovenia to activate and promote cultural relations between the two countries agreed to establish a Slovenian Cultural Week in Egypt in February 2011, to be followed by a similar Egyptian cultural week in Slovenia during the autumn of 2011 under the auspices of the Ministries of Culture in both countries.
