On 7/12/2015: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received two representatives of the Ethiopian popular diplomacy delegation. The President met the Vice President of Addis Ababa University and the former chairman of the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce. Sisi hailed the pair's role in promoting popular ties between the two countries, welcoming the activation of an Egyptian-Ethiopian coordination office, which was the outcome of the president's Ethiopia visit in March.
On 6/11/2015: The Ethiopian Minister of Water Resources and Energy visited Egypt to attend the 9th round of talks over Ethiopia's renaissance dam. He met Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources.
On 6/8/2015: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received The Ethiopian Prime Minister during the opening of the New Suez Canal.
On 2/5/2015: The Foreign Minister met his Ethiopian counterpart to discuss promoting bilateral relations in several fields. They discussed implementing the outcome of the 5th meeting for the joint committee held earlier in Addis Ababa. They took up the situation in the Horn of Africa and means of fighting terrorism in Libya.
On 29/3/2015: The Prime Minister visited Ethiopia to attend the 18th COMESA summit in Addis Ababa.
On 29/1/2015: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi left on a three-day visit to Ethiopia to participate in the 24th African Union Summit.
On 26/1/2015: The Foreign Minister arrived to Ethiopia to take part in the meetings of the 26th session of the executive council of the African Union foreign ministers.
On 16/12/2014: The Prime Minister met a public diplomacy delegation from Ethiopia to discuss relations between the two countries. The delegation was led by Speaker of the Ethiopian House of Peoples' Representative along with prominent academics and former diplomats.
On 21/11/2014: The Foreign Minister met his Ethiopian counterpart in Denmark. The two top diplomats are participating in the Copenhagen-based Partnership Forum on Somalia. They discussed ways of bolstering bilateral relations in all fields as well as the outcome of a joint ministerial meeting that was held in Addis Ababa.
On 2/11/2014: The Foreign Minister arrived to Ethiopia to take part in the 5th round of the joint Egyptian-Ethiopian Committee that convened in Addis Ababa at the ministerial level. He said the joint committee is the outcome of several months of activities at the political, cultural and economic levels.
On 5/9/2014: The Foreign Minister wrapped up talks with The Ethiopian Prime Minister in Addis Ababa, saying Ethiopia was committed to cooperate with Egypt.
