Sisi mourns Nobel laureate Zewail

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday 2/8/2016 expressed great sadness over the death of scientist and Nobel Prize winner Ahmed Zewail who passed away earlier today at the age of 70.
According to a statement by the presidency, the president expressed condolences to his family and students.
Egypt lost one of its loyal citizens and a genius scientist who spared no effort to serve his country in the various arenas, the president said.
Zewail won the prize in 1999 for his pioneering achievement with regard to femtoseconds which studies chemical reactions in ultra-short timescales.
