Friday، 24 February 2017 - 02:20 PM

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued directives to continue coordination between the Armed Forces and police to ensure the country's security and stability.

He, meanwhile, underlined the importance of maintaining a high level of vigilance to foil attempts by terrorist groups to jeopardize Egypt's security and stability.

The remark was at his meeting on Thursday 23/02/2017 with leaders of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces and the Supreme Council of Police. Defense Minister Colonel General Sedki Sobhi and Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar attended the meeting.

President Sisi, meanwhile, hailed sacrifices made by the Armed Forces and police to serve homeland and attain security. The meeting also tackled the recent security developments in Egypt along with efforts exerted to confront terrorism in North Sinai, said Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef.

Reports claiming that there is a proposal to resettle Palestinians in Sinai are groundless, said the spokesman, adding that such matter was not discussed at all.
