Egyptian participation in ITB

Egypt participates in the  International Tourism Bourse (ITB) Berlin, the World's Leading Travel Trade Show.

The ITB is considered the biggest tourist market worldwide and its 51st round will be held during March 8-12, 2017. Some 187 countries from around the world participates in the ITB.

Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed inaugurates the Egyptian pavilion. The 2,400-square-meter pavilion groups 80 Egyptian exhibitors representing important firms and tourist hotels in Egypt along with Egyptian national carrier EgyptAir.

Rashed asserted that the Ministry is working on promoting medical tourism in the global market. Also, the Ministry is seeking during the coming period to encourage programs of religious tourism and the Holy Family's journey in Egypt, as well as cultural tourism, Rashed added.

Surgeon Gamal Moustafa underlined that Egypt is famous for curative tourism and he will give a lecture about this topic on the sidelines of ITB.
