Egypt urges ending military conflict in Syria

Egypt expressed deep concern over the repercussions of Tuesday's toxic bomb attack on the Syrian town of Khan Shikhoun, which killed and injured scores of civilians.
In a statement on Friday 07/04/2017, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry called for stepping up efforts to end the military conflict in Syria and maintain the Middle East security.
It further urged all Syrian parties to abide by the ceasefire decision and start negotiations under the auspices of the UN.
Egypt calls on the US and Russia to take effective steps to reach a comprehensive and final settlement of the Syrian crisis, the statement read.
