The Armed Forces organized a ceremony to honor the families of army martyrs on the occasion of Orphan Day.

During the event, Major General Saeed Abbas, the Assistant Chief of Staff, delivered a speech on behalf of Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi.

Abbas underlined the Armed Forces' keenness on providing all possible care for the families of army martyrs.

The Egyptian army will never forget those who provided model examples in patriotism and sacrificed their lives for Egypt, he added.

The ceremony was attended by a number of the Armed Forces top brass.
