Cabinet: Death toll from Minya terror attack rises to 29

The Cabinet said on Friday 26/05/2017 that the death toll from Minya terror attack rose to 29.
In a press release, the Cabinet said Prime Minister Sherif Ismail is still following up the repercussions of the terrorist attack.
Earlier, the prime minister presided over a central operation room meeting in Minya which was attended by the ministers of social solidarity and health and Minya governor.
During the meeting, the prime minister directed to provide the injured with all necessary medical treatment.
The premier also visited Nasser Institute for Research and Treatment to inquire after the injured in the terror attack.
In a press conference held at Nasser Institute, Ismail said the Egyptian national security is protected from inside and outside Egypt.
Ismail said terror attacks aim to harm the Egyptian national fabric, adding that measures will be taken following Minya terror attack.
