Egypt Strongly Condemns Mogadishu Terrorist Attack

In a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued on the 31st of July, Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack with an explosive car in Mecca street in Mogadishu, which claimed the lives of six people and injured 20 others.
Egypt expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims, calling God Almighty to have patience on them, and bestow mercy on the victims, and wished quick recovery for the injured.
Egypt emphasized that it stands in support of the government and people of Somalia against terrorism, and in its efforts to bring about stability and rebuild the nation's institutions. Egypt also renewed its call upon the international community to enhance efforts against terrorism and dry up its sources of finance and support.
