Tuesday، 12 September 2017 - 03:41 PM

Located next to the National Police Museum at the northern end of the Citadel, the Citadel Prison Museum consists of several actual cells that were in use from the time of Salah El-Din (Saladin) until the 20th century. Mannequins dressed in historical costume sit in some of the cells to illustrate their use. Signs identifying the era represented by each “prisoner” are in Arabic and English.
