Sisi wins 2nd term by 97.08% of votes

The National Election Authority (NEA) has announced President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's win in the 2018 presidential election for a second four-year term after clinching 21,835,387 votes with a 97.08 percentage.

Sisi's rival Moussa Mostafa Moussa won 656,534 votes in the polls with a 2.92 percentage, NEA President Counselor Lashin Ibrahim announced.

A total of 24,254,152 voters inside and outside Egypt, representing 41.05% of eligible voters, cast their ballots, he added.
