Residents of Gaza Strip thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for opening Rafah Crossing during the holy month of Ramadan as well as sending aid convoys to the strip.
Ahmed Abu Rtaima, the Palestinian political activist, told MENA on Sunday 20/5/2018 that he thanked Egypt's political leadership over their efforts to ease Gaza's suffering especially after Israeli besiege.
He hoped that the opening of the crossing would continue in order to exchange commodities between Egypt and Gaza Strip.
Commenting on the many banners raised in Gaza in support of president Sisi, Abu Rtaima said these banners show the brotherly ties between the Egyptian and Palestinian peoples.
Earlier, Egypt sent aid convoys and ambulances to treat injured Palestinians in addition to opening Rafah crossing.
