President Abdel Fattah El Sisi mourned the martyrs of Friday's attack on a bus carrying a number of Copts near the Monastery of Saint Samuel the Confessor in Minya governorate.
On his Twitter account, Sisi lashed out at those behind this vicious attack, saying they were seeking to harm the national fabric.
He also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
He vowed that the perpetrators will not get off scot-free, asserting that efforts exerted to fight terrorism will continue.
The incident will not undermine the will of our nation to continue its fight to build homeland and achieve progress, he said.
