2nd Arab Sustainable Development Week

Activities of the 2nd Arab Sustainable Development Week started on 19-22/11/2018 at the premises of the Arab League (AL).
The event is held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in the presence of Planning Minister Hala el Saeed and Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Gheit.
The week's sessions focus on sustainable financing and issues related to putting an end to all forms of hunger and malnutrition which is one of the goals of the sustainable development plan 2030.
The sessions also tackle achieving balance between rural and urban development.
They take up issues related to soft power and its role in illuminating communities.
The 30 sessions of the event will discuss issues in numerous domains including social, economic and cultural ones.
More than 120 representatives of regional and international organizations, NGOs, private sector and regional and international experts take part in the event.
The fourth day of the week will be allocated to discussing Egyptian files including Egypt's vision and plan to achieve sustainable development and issues related to health, education and industry.
