President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived Wednesday 14/11/2019 in the UAE on a two-day visit.

He was received at the Abu Dhabi International Airport by Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The two leaders exchanged friendly talks on relations between the two countries.

Sisi is accompanied by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Planning Minister Hala el Saeed and Head of the Intelligence Service Abbas Kamel.

Activity

- An official reception ceremony was accorded to visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi at Qasr Al Watan. The procession of president Sisi was flanked by a group of horse riders carrying both the Egyptian and UAE flags. The national anthems of Egypt and the UAE were played to welcome the President. President Sisi was received, upon arrival at Qasr Al Watan, by Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan along with a number of ministers and senior statesmen.

- President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Qasr Al Watan. During an expanded session of talks attended by delegations from both countries, Sheikh Mohammed said that the UAE, its leadership and people welcome Sisi's visit. He highlighted the distinguished Egyptian-UAE relations and affirmed Egypt's pivotal role in the Arab region.

- Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conferred "Order of Zayed" on President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in appreciation of his role in strengthening ties with the UAE. The order comes also in appreciation of the strong historical ties between Egypt and the UAE.

- President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan witnessed on Thursday 14/11/2019 the inking ceremony of joint cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding between Egypt and the UAE in the fields of manpower, taxes and insurance.

- President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan made a tour Thursday 14/11/2019 of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC).
