The cabinet has decided to exempt tourists visiting Egypt through direct flights from tourism visa fees.
The decision was taken on Wednesday during a videoconference meeting under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, stipulating that the tourists shall be exempted from such fees until October 31.
This step aims to promote and increase tourism flow as part of the country's readiness to resume tourism activities within the coming period amid the novel coronavirus fears.
