Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly reviewed a report Tuesday detailing medical relief assistance and efforts of a Cabinet relief committee during the month of July.
The report has been raised by the committee's Chairman Dr. Hossam el-Masry, the Cabinet's medical advisor.
Madbouly extolled the committee's efforts in assuaging the suffering of those in dire need of medical aid, expounding that contributions in this regard are the "core" of the government's task, citing his government's keenness on receiving, as well as immediately responding to all citizens' complaints, with a view to extending required medical support.
The report referred to emergency cases for a number of citizens, to which the government swiftly responded, including cases for special needs, along with bone marrow transplantation procedures, bone surgeries, dermatological surgeries, treatment of burns, ophthalmic surgeries, treatment of rare diseases, blood transfusion and providing prosthetic appliances, according to the committee's chairman.
