Judges' Club decries German rights commissioner remarks on court verdicts

Egyptian Judges' Club, under Counselor Mohammed Abdel Mohsen, Tuesday described the remarks of the German government commissioner for human rights policy on recent verdicts issued by Egyptian courts a blatant violation to the guarantees of judiciary independence stipulated by the international agreements.
The club, also, condemned the statements as an unacceptable interference in the work of Egypt's independent judiciary that has never tolerated any domestic or foreign interference throughout its history
Spokesman for the Judges' Club Counselor Reda Mahmoud said, in a statement, such remarks contradict all judicial conventions that prohibit interference in the court verdicts or decisions of the General Prosecution.
