Madbouli follows up development, service projects in various governorates

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Tuesday followed up a number of service and development projects which are currently underway in various governorates and the current situation regarding building violation settlements.
The premier, who held a series of virtual meetings with the governors, assigned the governors to increase the number of employees who are receiving applications of building settlements along with increasing working hours to ease measures for citizens. Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawy asserted that he will follow up on the implementation of the premier's decision in this regard.
Meanwhile, South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda reviewed the implementation of projects which are currently under construction in South Sinai, noting that the cost of projects which have already been finalized reached EGP 359.9 million over 2019/2020. He also noted that the investment plan for 2020/2021 includes new projects valued at EGP 300 million.
The projects in South Sinai include the development of Sharm El Sheikh International Road, the establishment of Sharm El Sheikh Museum, that will be ready for inauguration in October, development of the cities of Tor Sinai, Ras Sedr, Abu Zeniema, Saint Catherine and others, according to the governor.
The new projects, also, comprise a housing project that consists of 180 Bedouin houses in Tor Sinai in addition to the development of shanty areas in the governorate, added the governor. The governor also pointed out that 27 playgrounds are currently being constructed in Sinai with civil donations in the governorate.
