Egypt to hold temporary exhibition of ancient Egyptian monuments in Georgia

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el Anani and the director of the Georgian National Museum have agreed on holding a temporary exhibition featuring the ancient Egyptian monuments in Georgia.
The talks were held on the sidelines of Anani’s participation in the 112th session of the World Tourism Organization’s executive council, which is currently held in the Georgian capital Tbilisi, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said in a statement Thursday 17/09/2020.
Anani made a tour of the Georgian National Museum, where he was received and accompanied by its director.
The two sides discussed means of bolstering Egypt-Georgia cooperation as regards the archaeological action, training and exchanging expertise, especially in light of the ongoing cooperation between the Georgian museum and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
