NPA reveals new heads of press institutions

The National Press Authority (NPA) announced Saturday 26/09/2020 new heads of state-owned press institutions.

MENA Board Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Ali Hassan kept his position.

Meanwhile, veteran journalist Abdel-Mohsen Salama has been appointed board chairman of Al-Ahram Organisation, Ahmed Mohamed Galal Montasser as board chairman of Akhbar El-Youm, Ayman Fathi Ahmed Tawfik as board chairman of Rose al-Yusuf and Saeed Abdou as board chairman of Dar Al-Maarif, the NPA said

Alaa Thabet, the editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram daily, Khaled Miri, the editor-in-chief of Akhbar daily and Mohamed Amin, the editor-in-chief of October Magazine of Dar Al-Maarif have also maintained their positions.

Meanwhile, Raafat El Khayat has been appointed editor-in-chief of Akhbar El Youm, Ezzat Ibrahim as editor-in-chief of the online version of Al-Ahram Weekly, Ahmad Badawi as editor-in-chief of Rose al-Youssef magazine, and Ahmed Farahat Pasha as editor-in-chief of Rose al-Youssef newspaper.

Moreover, Mohamed Abdel Hamid Fahmy has been appointed as editor-in-chief of the Egyptian Gazette and the Egyptian Mail English newspapers, which are part of El Tahrir Printing and Publishing House
