PM inspects work progress in cancer institute in Kafr El Sheikh

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Tuesday inspected the work progress in the cancer institute in Kafr El Sheikh, which is being established to treat cancer patients.

The prime minister stressed the importance of the project in providing distinguished medical services for the governorate's inhabitants.

Minister of Health Hala Zayed who was accompanying the prime minister, said the project is planned to be the biggest of its kind across Egypt to treat cancer patients.

The project engineer, Dr Yasser Emara, told the prime minister that the seven-storey institute, established on 8.876 square meters, has 67 rooms with 97 beds at costs amounting to EGP 460 million pounds.
