Egyptian, Sudanese Armed Forces carry out joint drills

The Egyptian and Sudanese Armed Forces on Saturday November 14, 2020 launched their first-ever joint military drills, which gather units form both countries' Air Forces and Commandos.
Lasting till November 26, the Nile Eagles 1 maneuver comes in light of the Egyptian Armed Forces General Command’s plan to engage in joint military exercises and exchange expertise with friendly and brotherly states.
The wargames are planned to include several activities, such as commanding various combat actions between the Egyptian and Sudanese Air Forces as well as training the commando troops on searching and rescuing missions.
The move aims at boosting the military cooperation between Egypt and Sudan.
