Egypt’s embassies and consulates abroad continued on Sunday 22/11/2020 receiving the mail ballot envelopes of registered Egyptian voters who cast their ballot in the run-off of the first round of the 2020 House of Representatives elections.

Polling stations in the diplomatic missions premises will receive the ballot envelopes till Monday at 9 pm (according to local time in each country hosting the premises) as per a decision issued by the National Election Authority (NEA), which set three days for voting of Egyptians abroad in the second round of the elections.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry's operations room is following up with the NEA all measures pertaining to the electoral process abroad to remove any hurdles facing Egyptian expatriates.

The run-off of the first phase of elections covers 13 governorates.
